Account & Data Deletion

Request deletion

Registered users may request account closure and deletion of eligible personal data by emailing contactus@hifipayments.com from their registered contact details. A self-service deletion option may also be provided in the future mobile app/account area.

Verification

We may verify identity and account ownership before processing the request to protect users against unauthorised deletion.

Records we may retain

Closing an account does not necessarily erase every transaction record. We may retain information required for accounting, payment reconciliation, fraud/security controls, complaints, disputes, legal/regulatory obligations and requirements of banks, billers or payment-system partners for the applicable retention period.
