Information we process

Depending on how you use HIFI PAYMENTS, we may process your name, mobile number, email address, account/login information, biller or recharge identifiers, transaction references, device/security information, support communications and information required to complete or investigate a transaction.

Why we use it

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process transactions, issue receipts, prevent fraud, respond to complaints, reconcile transactions, meet legal obligations and improve reliability.

Payment information

Payment processing may be performed by a bank or payment gateway. HIFI PAYMENTS should not store full card credentials or sensitive authentication data where processing is handled by the payment provider.

Sharing

Information may be shared as necessary with billers, operators, banks, payment gateways, Bharat Connect ecosystem participants, technology/service providers and competent authorities, subject to applicable requirements.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required for transaction records, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, legal/regulatory obligations and directions of banking or payment partners. An account-deletion request therefore may not require deletion of records that must lawfully be retained.

Your requests

You may contact contactus@hifipayments.com regarding access, correction, account closure, deletion or other privacy requests. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; users should protect OTPs, passwords and devices and report suspected misuse promptly.
